Photographer Thom Atkinson launched a unique photographic project: Soldiers inventories. The project is based on a series of photos showing the personal equipment carried by the British soldiers through the past 1,000 years.

Thom Atkinson spent nine months to deliver this unique project which consists 13 photos. Take a look below, you’ll be surprised.
